THE SCREAMS RETURN WITH ORIGINAL SERIES, “LEGENDS”

Go back to where the screams began with If it Scares You: Legends, which will re-release on the official If It Scares You Podcast Page beginning in July.

The Legends label consists of two limited series events which follow the same ensemble cast of characters. The first, “Legend of the Witch,” was originally released in 2020 and followed 13-year-old Sofie Morgan, who is less than enthused to be spending Halloween weekend in the sleepy town of Reaper, Idaho. Upon arrival, she uncovers the secret of a terrible tragedy surrounding the local woods. Together with the help of her cousin and friends, Sofie must try to keep an evil spirit at bay…or else.

The second series, “Summer of Screams,” originally debuted in 2021 and continues Sofie’s story in Seattle, Washington, where she discovers a sinister plot occurring after hours at the Museum of Unnatural Legends, where mummies have mysteriously gone missing from their exhibit. Sofie quickly turns to her cousin, Lucas, for help. However, the answer may already lie within a haunted boardwalk on the other side of town... Will the gang be able to stop the supernatural force that lurks the streets of Seattle, or will this vacation be their last?

The cast for both seasons included Bella Hall, Francisco Negron, Michael Montanus, Alexander Rozier, Suzi Martinez, Gracie Hall, Talia Martinez, Brayden Buckley, Alex Huber, JZ Marrero, Thomas Crozier, Mike Baltzell, Mackenzie Waggoner, Noel Nelson and Jose Torres. Both seasons were written and executive produced by Jonah Leisure and Garrett Ryan. Grace Ward also served as a writer and producer for “Legend of the Witch.”

Both seasons will drop in full, with Legend of the Witch arriving on Monday, July 31st, followed by Summer of Screams a week later on Monday, August 7th. All episodes will be accessible to stream on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and other podcast platforms. Both limited series join an existing season of stand-alone stories, now available. A new season will be debuting later this fall.
